We specialise in wholesale freight from China to Europe, particularly to Slovenia. We offer businesses reliable and efficient logistics solutions: sea, air, rail and road freight that brings your goods to you quickly and safely.
For shipments to Slovenia, we support you from the first inquiry until you take delivery of the goods. To date we have worked with clients from 27 countries and moved more than 1,200 tonnes of cargo.
Which mode of transport to choose
| Transport | Suitable for | Transit time | Price per kilogram |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sea freight | larger quantities, pallets, full containers | longest | lowest |
| Air freight | urgent, smaller and high-value shipments | shortest | highest |
| Rail and road freight | medium quantities, when sea is too slow and air too expensive | medium | medium |
We state the exact transit time and price in our offer, as they depend on the place of dispatch, the quantity and current conditions on the transport routes.
What we need for an offer
- pick-up location (a city or port in Asia) and delivery location
- type of goods and, if you know it, the customs tariff number (HS code)
- weight and volume (kg, m³) or the number of pallets or containers
- required delivery date
- the delivery terms you agreed with your supplier, for example EXW or FOB
If you do not know some of this yet, write to us anyway. We will sort out the missing details together.
Incoterms delivery terms
The delivery term defines where the supplier’s responsibility ends and yours begins. It determines which part of the journey we arrange.
- EXW: we collect the goods from the supplier’s factory or warehouse, and everything from there on is arranged by you or by us.
- FOB: the supplier delivers the goods on board the ship at the port of export, and onward transport is the buyer’s responsibility.
- CIF: the supplier pays for transport and insurance to a port in Europe, after which the buyer takes over.
- DAP: the supplier delivers to the agreed place, and the buyer pays the import duties.
- DDP: the supplier delivers to the buyer and also pays the import duties.
Importing into Slovenia
When goods from China enter the European Union, they go through the import customs procedure. The importing company needs an EORI number. On import, customs duty (which depends on the tariff number of the goods) and VAT are charged. Customs clearance usually requires:
- the supplier’s commercial invoice
- a packing list
- a transport document: a sea bill of lading (B/L), an air waybill (AWB) or a rail consignment note
- where required, a certificate of origin and other certificates, for example CE marking for electrical products
